The adorable snap captured the royals in a lovely moment with the popstar who was performing at Wembley Stadium last night.
The Prince of Wales and his children Prince George, 10, and Princess Charlotte, 9, have posed for a smiling selfie with popstar, Taylor Swift.
Father of three, Prince William, was seen bopping away at the concert at Wembley Stadium last night to the total delight of royal watchers.
The adorable snap was shared by The Prince and Princess of Wales on their official X account. The caption read “Thank you @TaylorSwift for a great evening! #LondonTSTheErastour”.
Taylor can be seen crouching alongside Princess Charlotte with her out-stretched hand taking a selfie as she stands in front of a beaming Prince George. Prince William smiles as he stands tall at the back, with his hands resting on George’s shoulders.
Taylor Swift also posted a picture on her own social media accounts of another version of the selfie with the caption “Happy Bday M8! London shows are off to a splendid start.”
At the time of writing, Taylor Swift’s post has gained over 154K likes and over 3K comments in less than an hour of the picture being uploaded. Her version of the image also includes her boyfriend, NFL star Travis Kelce grinning alongside the royals.
Both Royal Family fans and Swifties have expressed their delight in the image, with one fan writing “USA and UK royalty”.
Super fan, @SabirahLohn wrote: “Not you and KP planning to post at the same time! This has made my day! Thank you for making Charlotte and George’s day as well. Also getting William to do his dad dance.”
Another fan expressed their excitement: “Wow, basically UK’s Royal family and the World’s Royal Family in the same picture.”
Twitter user, @KJM_withaview said: “We love you Taylor!!! Thanks for sharing! Also praying for Princess Kate.”
Another user shared: “Love the emotions in this shot! Looks like it was a great evening.”
As Prince William also celebrated his 42nd birthday on June 21, he was spotted shaking his arms to the song ‘Shake It Off’ at Wembley Stadium.
William’s cousin, Zara Tindall, and her husband Mike Tindall were among the star-studded crowd. Dressed casually for an evening of entertainment, Mike, 45, opted for a baby pink and white shirt and shorts and wore a blue and white baseball cap. Whereas Zara, 43, chose a bright golden sequinned jacket, plain white top, and comfortable denim shorts.
The spectators also reportedly included Bridgerton star Nicola Coughlan and model Cara Delevigne.
Back in 2013, Prince William previously shared the stage with Swift and Jon Bon Jovi for a performance of Livin’ On A Prayer for a charity event at Kensington Palace.
Meanwhile, Taylor will return to the 90,000-capacity venue on Saturday evening and Sunday, before returning for a further five gigs in August.
