Meghan Markle seems to ‘confirm’ ‘professional separation’ from Prince Harry after surprise move

Meghan Markle has seemingly ‘confirmed’ her professional separation from Prince Harry following an unexpected move.

On Thursday (January 2), the Duchess of Sussex dropped the trailer for her own self-hosted lifestyle TV series, With Love, Meghan, which is set to premiere on Netflix in the coming weeks. You can watch the official trailer here:

Sharing the trailer on her new Instagram account, Meghan wrote: “I have been so excited to share this with you! I hope you love the show as much as I loved making it.

“Wishing you all a fantastic new year! Thanks to our amazing crew and the team @netflix. Beyond grateful for the support – and fun! As ever, Meghan.”

According to Tudum, the upcoming series offers fans a peek into Meghan’s life “in the kitchen, garden – and even at the beehive – as she prepares to host friends both old and new.”

The trailer opens with the mother of two talking about her passion for ‘elevating’ – whether it’s food, hosting friends, or traveling – while foraging berries in what appears to be her garden at her Montecito, California home.

“I’ve always loved taking something pretty ordinary and elevating it,” she shares. “Surprising people with moments that let them know I was really thinking of them.”

Later, Meghan added, “We’re not in the pursuit of perfection, we’re in the pursuit of joy,” tying it to the theme of the series, which focuses on how “even the most minute details can help add beauty to our lives.”

The trailer also shows the Duchess hosting several well-known friends, including writer and The Office star Mindy Kaling.

Netflix revealed that the series will feature renowned figures like Roy Choi and Alice Waters, alongside other acclaimed chefs, who will assist her with cooking, and a few special friends of the family.

Harry also makes a short appearance in the trailer, sharing a cozy moment with Meghan in a warm embrace while both hold champagne glasses.

Although it’s unclear whether the Duke of Sussex will appear more in the upcoming series, his inclusion in the trailer could hint at further involvement beyond just this brief moment.

There has been much discussion regarding the couple’s ‘professional separation,’ and Meghan’s new Netflix series might shed light on this.

“Harry and Meghan have consistently pursued solo ventures in connection with their individual interests,” an anonymous source shared with Hello! a few months ago. “But remain deeply committed to their joint efforts through Archewell [their joint charity, created in 2020].”

The source further explained, “Together they have exciting projects in the pipeline, all driving forward their shared mission for positive global impact.”
